This year’s ECMA Congress promises to be the cartonboard and folding carton event of the year, bringing together an exceptional line-up of speakers from across our industry and beyond. Our programme includes representatives from L’Oréal, the Deputy Minister of Industry in the Italian Government, the London School of Economics, IPSOS, Cepi, Neil Osment Associates, Smithers, AFRY Management Consulting, Moorgate Capital, The Paper Packaging Council of America, and many more. We are also delighted to welcome keynote speakers - Ben Collins, former BBC Top Gear’s ‘The Stig’ and a James Bond stunt driver and Thomas Reiner from Berndt + Partner Group,
as well as the return of our CEO panel.

On Thursday evening, we will celebrate the winners of the European Carton Excellence Awards, alongside the
Pro Carton Young Designers Award and the Student Video Award. The awards ceremony will take place under the open skies at the iconic Villa Miani, with spectacular views across the skyline of Vatican City and Rome.

Our overriding focus in Rome will be on looking to the future, under this year’s Congress theme:
‘Folding Cartons – Powering Future Packaging’.
We will demonstrate that, despite the challenges facing our industry, the opportunities ahead are greater still –
and that our best days are yet to come.
